The next IFCC webinar: "Outcome studies to advance excellence in laboratory medicine" will be held on December 6, 2023.

Laboratory professionals are now more than ever required to perform studies that provide evidence of the impact of testing on patient outcomes since the growth of laboratory medicine is reliant on its “value add” in the health-care landscape. In order to demonstrate the value for testing, we need to understand whether the test is worth of investment and to identify the impact of testing on management, care pathways and outcomes.

The EFLM Scientific Research Grant has been established to promote science and facilitate research in Laboratory Medicine in Europe.

Two grants of the maximum amount of € 10.000 each, are awarded each year, one for an applicant coming from a country enjoying “Vic Blaton” scholarship program and the other for an applicant coming from any other country in Europe.
